Jamea & Alex
On to the next in line of our summer weddings and we have Jamea, Alex and, of course, Watson the dog. The pair wed at the gorgeous St Margarets church in Chipstead, Surrey amongst a host of chic family and friends.
We started right in the thick of the action at the church and arrived just in time to hear Alex and his Groomsmen thunder into the peaceful country lane on their vintage motorbikes. A few posed pictures with the guys and the bikes, followed by everyone settling down in the church waiting for Jamea’s arrival.
She rocked up at the church, alongside her bridesmaids, in a blue vintage Bentley (Alex is a self-confessed petrol-head, his words not mine!) and looked divine. Aside from a few tears the service went off without a hitch and we were soon back outside in the sunshine ready to throw confetti. At this point, Watson, Jamea and Alex’s rescue dog arrived for a few posed photos. The couple then set off in a racing red MG for a private moment together at a pub down the road whilst the rest of the guest boarded a red double decker London bus that took them to the reception venue.
After 20mins, a beer and a glass of fizz, Jamea and Alex returned to the church for their couple photos. Next up was the reception venue, The Parrot Inn pub in Forest Green, where guests enjoyed a spot of afternoon tea and garden games before settling down to a pub dinner in the evening.
The couple aren’t huge fans of the spotlight so opted for a choregraphed routine with their bridesmaids and groomsmen to Fatboy Slim Praise You, for their first dance. This went down a storm with their guests who soon followed suit and danced through the evening. I have no doubt that there were many sore heads the next day.
So here we are ladies and gentlemen… Alex and Jamea
